About KITA 2024

Introduction

Aspirasi KITA was initiated by YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor, Chief Minister of Sabah, during his officiating address at Sabah State Integrity Day on 1 September 2022 at Menara Kinabalu. This noble aspiration was subsequently translated into action by the Sabah State Secretary through strategic collaboration with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Strengthening Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption (GIA) through knowledge, networks and inter-agency collaboration.

Build synergy among agencies by maximising resources and ideas to strengthen Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption (GIA) practices.

Target outcomes

Enhance knowledge, sharpen skills and cultivate personal excellence in advancing GIA initiatives.
Expand professional and social networks while encouraging GIA-focused collaboration between public agencies and corporations.
Expose participants to the realities and challenges of managing governance, integrity and anti-corruption.
Strengthen cooperation between the Sabah State Government and MACC towards a corruption-free Sabah.
Strengthen the Sabah State Government’s reputation and credibility as a pioneer, leader and benchmark for GIA.
